Codex Juice, across every effort.
GPT-6 Astra Juice monitoring is also supported. Select a model to view its own measurements and history. Unavailable readings stay empty.
Latest Juice check unavailable
No change will be published until the complete sweep produces a repeatable result.

Six reasoning efforts
Which reasoning effort should you use?
A larger Juice value is not proof of better coding. Compare fixed task results before choosing an effort.

Quick answers
About the Juice monitor
What is Codex Juice?+
Juice is a community-observed value associated with the reasoning budget available to a Codex run. It is not an official OpenAI metric, so we report only values returned by the same repeatable probe.
Does higher Juice mean better coding?+
Not necessarily. Juice describes an observed runtime budget, not answer quality. Use the Capability page to compare which reasoning effort performs best on fixed coding tasks.
How often is Codex Juice checked?+
The monitor runs one complete six-effort sweep each day. If a value changes, that effort is checked again before the change is published.
Can I track GPT-6 Astra Juice separately?+
Yes. Select GPT-6 Astra to view its observed Juice values. Each model has its own baseline and history, so switching models never counts as a Juice change. A missing or unsupported effort remains empty.
